The Education Agency provided regular monthly support to Thistley Hough Academy which included revising and updating their website, public relations and communications support and advice, resulting in pupils featuring in the regional press and a TES award application and shortlisting.
We worked closely with the school and created marketing materials and prospectuses, organised and promoted open days and provided social media support
We also delivered a successful road safety campaign to highlight to students the importance of taking care when crossing the road and raise awareness among road users on the surrounding roads to drop their speed.
Creating a behavioural change campaign held its own challenges. We focussed on three target audiences and tailored our approach to engage with them all to ensure that they would be advocates for the important messages we were distributing.
Schools are under increasing pressure to fulfil pupil numbers and getting recruitment right involves creative thinking to deliver successful results.
Working on a retained basis with the school meant that they were able to take full advantage of The Education Agency’s team of experts.
