The Challenge and Solution
TEA supported the collegiate on its mission to bring harmony to its schools. The branding throughout the collegiate was inconsistent and needed a cohesive brand style rolled out throughout its schools. It was important that the school leaders believed they belonged to a trust which would support them and bring them together for a collective purpose.
School print marketing materials
The first port of call was to ensure the school marketing material was professional, smart and consistent. Many of the schools, like a lot of other schools, had low budgets and sent out notices, posters, letters, newsletters which has been designed by a teacher in Word or Paint.
This looks amateur and didn’t give the school’s audience the experience that was needed to promote each school as a first choice in their area.
Rather than developing 10 new prospectuses which would have been a costly exercise, The Education Agency rolled out an A4 prospectus folder with a pocket which would allow the schools to personalise any handouts they gave away.
Brand consistency
The design was uniform for the trust and was a fantastic, cost-effective solution to one of its main challenges. Each folder was designed with the school’s specific brand colours and each had unique content.
Further document templates were created which would allow the school to input any information in professional and well-designed communications. The documents were designed in Word and PowerPoint so they were easy to use for the school leaders and meant all material going forward would reflect the Trust’s professionalism and value.
